Several times a year, the power goes out in entire neighborhoods. This time, the power went out in the water treatment plant and this caused the water to shut off for all of Richmond for about two days. No way to flush a toilet! No way to wash your hands! "Well equipped rooms with numerous amenities. Spacious upstairs bedroom, 2 nicely spaced bedrooms on main floor. Well equipped kitchen, great art and photography on the walls. Communication with our host, James was excellent and timely. Near VA hospital and Forest Hills park. "

"Just back from a stay at this property and it was just as described. I would stay there again without hesitation. I would recommend a good cleaning in the living room - dry cleaning the couch as well as rug, which is why I rated cleanliness with 3 stars. I had a little trouble with the check in, but the owner was available as needed. Not sure if this is VRBO or the owner, but I would urge a check out time of no later than noon. If it had been, I would not have to have left dishes in the sink! "
