"Hotel Albatros is a gem - we stayed twice (before and after Torres del Paine) and were beyond pleased. The rooms are well designed and very comfortable, the beds are wonderful, the staff is very attentive and helpful, and we loved the breakfast. This is a great choice in Punta Arenas and we would absolutely stay here again. "

"I felt like I was at home with Malita and Tito. The hostel was a private little place with a great view of the ocean, and a neat little area for meals. It was exactly what I needed for my first day in country. Malita was very helpful in helping me get supplies for my upcoming backpack in Torres del Paine. She was very patient with my terrible Spanish! "

"Very nice cabin and very clean. Good heater and breakfast items were adequate. I did not know there was not an office and was confused at first. However, looking closely, there was a sticker on the door with my name on it and a set of keys in the door to let myself in. Very interesting South Chile town. Stores all closed down on Sunday. Found a quaint little place to eat great seafood by the sea. This is an adventure destination in my opinion. We have been riding motorcycles...
