"Great Communication prior to our stay. Clear instructions on how to enter premises and check in. Two bedroom apartment was spacious for our family of 5, including 3 teenagers. Cooking facilities were in good working order and the full size fridge with freezer was great. Laundry in apartment was very handy for washing and drying towels and was stocked with laundry detergent. One more roll of toilet paper would have been great 😃"

"Overall ,great location, great view from balcony, just opposite the beach. Comfy beds in all three rooms. Water pressure in the showers were great. High standard of cleanliness. Washing machine and dryer were an additional convenience. However, 3rd bed room AC was not working for the first 4 days. I didn't say anything about it but on 4th day someone just came and fixed which means it was known prior to our arrival that AC was not working. A huge pain thhat I had to carry on each day when...

"Perfect getaway! Spacious room! Can’t thank enough to that someone who found my card and leaving it in the reception. A safe place indeed! "

"We only stayed one night here but it’s in a great spot. A few minutes walk to the water and cafes etc. The grounds had a nice Balinese feel to them. Check in and out was easy. I loved that the room had a washer/dryer. "

"Comfortable casual accommodation- great for a few days with kitchen and laundry in the unit. It was a little confusing to check in and out when not arriving during reception hours- we called the posted number and had a smooth check-in but no one answered when we tried to setup checkout for early morning the next day so we left the key fobs in the drop box and left a message and hoped. One detail was that a hot tub is listed and I thought I verified by looking ta the pool image to see a small...

"Room was Well kept and clean.pool was very pleasant. Owners very informative on what to do and where to go. We were able to see wallobies on the Helo pad. They like apples and carrots. The beaches were clean and tidy and very refreshing.A stay at the Tropical Palms was well worth the visit.."

"Stuart was an amazing host. He even gave us recommendations on what to do. The property was directly across the beach. We could hear beach waves off our balcony. We had adequate space for 4 of us and amenities were wonderful. He even had ac on waiting for us when we arrived late at night. Highly recommend this place"

"Attending an event at Cairns Convention Centre and Il Centro is a comfortable short walk to this venue at very reasonable price. Reading previous reviews the Reception person has a typical NQ sense of humour that is not always appreciated by all guests - but he is still very helpful and informative."

The resort was lovely, however it is not called the Horizons Nine Pool Resort which was confusing when you get dropped off at the address and the property name is Cairns One. The only negative was the tv remote in the lounge was missing and it took 3 days for anyone to confirm where it was. Otherwise great location, amazing facility. I would recommend. "
