"We stayed in apartment 331; the units are tired and need a refurbishment, fittings are worn, chipped & stained. The chair cushions were hiding a lot of food crumbs, peanuts etc. balcony needed sweeping, bathroom needs an update. The unit was not up to a 4 star premiere standard as advertised, gardens are nice with 2 pools and location is good."

"The cottage is set on a cliff top behind a gun emplacement at the rear of Portsea Camp and only has spectacular views from the viewing area above this emplacement and not from the cottage itself. The property wasn’t ready when we arrived at 2pm. The beds hadn’t been stripped and remade. The property has a carpark at the front which fills as locals head to the beach every day, traipsing across the Portsea Camp grounds. The camp goers are loud and intrusive and the maintenance people retrieve...

"We celebrated a milestone family birthday with 3 generations. The house was comfortable and homely with a great number of areas indoor and out to relax and enjoy the weather and bird visitors. "

"Overall we were very happy but there were a couple of little disappointments; we came to attend a wedding so the absence of an iron and ironing board was both annoying and disappointing. There is also a need for some maintenance on the upstairs sliding doors which are hard to open and we were amazed that within 8 hours of arriving we ran out of toilet paper and had to go out and buy more - it seemed a little penny pinching."
