"Everything is in good walking distance and the pool was nice. Also the reception staff were really friendly and so helpful. Only complaints were the shower was half broken (probably should have mentioned it to the staff but I couldn’t be bothered) and the bed has probably been slept in by 10,000 people and needs a new mattress. "

"Really lovely stay Had a room over the harbour so saw the Bastille day fireworks from the balcony. Some extra special staff - we travel a lot and they were 110%. Special thank you to Marc especially who went out of his way to ensure we had a memorable stay.Nothing was too much trouble He also recommended some fabulous places to eat - all excellent value. "Our first impression of Le Carre Noir was breathtaking. The drive up was dramatic, the view spectacular. The staff were cordial but we were offered no help with our bags and the key card system was down when we arrived. The rooms were very nice and the pool was beautiful, though we never saw anyone there. "Friendly staff who spoke fairly good English. The apartment was spacious and very clean. Came with crockery and cutlery and some pots and pans to use. We weren't aware that we would have to bring our own hand soap which I was a bit annoying on the first day. You are also given one toilet roll and one bin bag. It would of been helpful to know this before arriving. Other than that it was in a good location from Porto-Vecchio, with a nice little beach attached. "
