Its close to the center and you can mostly find scooters or bikes close for rent which makes it even easier to explore the city. "We loved our stay here. This is a small family run B&B. A real gem in St Emilion. We stayed in the loft room but the low ceiling was only a minor inconvenience. Appreciated the facilities in the room including the fridge in the hot weather and the thought that went into designing the space so it is completely blackout at night. "The room was beautiful - but a reminder that 2nd floor in France = 3rd floor in USA. While the room was new and had a beautiful view over the public gardens the private bathroom is anything but - the toilet is literally IN your room, with no privacy at all. It is not ideal. We only stayed for one night so made it work - but it wouldn't be comfortable with anyone other than a significant other. Also - we asked if any extra pillows were available (total of two provided) and the answer was no. "
