"Nicely located with views to the moors castle. The building inside has a lot of character and management has been able to keep it very historical. Only comments i would make is that there is a point of gathering of tuk tuk motos directly in front of building and the giys can get quite noisy. Also i side apartme nt some towel hooks to hang after shower can be nice and simple to do"

"A lovely stay but for those who might suffer from allergies there was a definite mildew smell in one of the bedrooms. Check in was smooth. Great communication between the owner, her daughter and myself. A beautiful location with some nice restaurants in the area. "

"The location was perfect in the historic center near everything and the room was cozy and charming. The bed was comfortable. However, the carpet was not very clean and the bathtub was badly clogged and it took hours to get empty after a shower. We stayed there for two nights and the host promised to send someone to repair it, but it was never repaired, regardless our many messages and photographs of the problem. Not very pleasant in the heat of Portuguese summer."

"We really enjoyed our stay in this property and especially appreciated the quiet but accessible location. We took advantage of the forest path to access the castles. The hike was part of the fun and made for a much better experience than fighting the crowds to take public transit. We were also close enough to walk into town for evening dinners. Like most places in Portugal, you're going to earn your dinner on account of all the hills. BUT... One thing that was an issue for us was the presence...

"Cute place and very fresh! It was lovely to hear the rainfall on the roof - it was nice to go to sleep with the sound. Convenient to walk to great sites in Sintra (20 to 40 minutes walk). Carolina is very responsive! The little market around the corner was perfect for basic food needs - especially the fresh apricots!!! Our only minor issue was moisture since the weather is damp and cool, yet the owner was quick to provide a dehumidifier."
