"Grace and Danny at reception were so inviting and very helpful. A bit far from town but a shuttle is offered to and from the beach everyday for guests. I recommend getting dinner at the hostel because the food was amazing every night. Very social and the pool was great to hangout by for a chill day. "

"A very pleasant stay. A bit out of the way, but I suppose that is part of it's charm. A nice pool and relaxing environment. Breakfast was good, but not a lot of choice. Don't go there expecting a beach vacation as it is a 45 minute drive to the nearest beach. Road to the property is pretty rough, but that's typical of off the beaten path properties. "Latica lodge was amazing to stay at! If you’re looking for that community vibe then this should be on the top of your list. Everyone from all over the world staying there, all having breakfast/supper together was spectular. The owners are everyday people willing to help you out with everything they made the stay so enjoyable. "The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was cleaned every day. The bed was extremely comfortable and well made each day. I liked the key pad access so we didn't have to keep up with a key. The room air conditioner was very quiet and cooled the room quickly. Breakfast was excellent. We enjoyed the beautiful pool."

"The view from my room was beautiful! The room was perfect for a couple. I would give it a five stars rating if the bathroom didn’t smell like mold. "A very good place to go when you want luxury in tamarindo. The rooms are nice. The hotel is big but accommodates everyone easily. It was nice to have easy access to town and the stores and restaurants. It’s the type of high end resort that gives you direct access to the town itself. Breakfast was always great and the ocean views were spectacular."

The Westin Reserva Conchal, an All-Inclusive Golf Resort & Spa

"I loved this resort! 1. The food was great for resort food 2. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. 3. We always felt safe even at night 4. The resort was full of monkeys, iguanas, macaws, birds 5. Lots of entertainment for kids The only downside was the beach. Don’t go here For the beach. It’s pretty and the view is great but the locals bug you to get massages as soon as you step foot on the sand and the current is strong I would go back and recommend this place every time. "

"Lovely facility and grounds. Staff is friendly and extremely helpful. Two pool areas; one just off the hotel lobby and one down by the beach. Bars and food service provided at both pools. Beautiful beach area with chairs and umbrellas available. Located on gated secure grounds. Lap of luxury! "

"We stayed at this resort for my sisters birthday and it was amazing. It is a small resort and you will get to know the staff and other vacationgoers really quickly. Danny Boy (staff) helped me to get a birthday cake to surprise my sister and helped us get a taxi to CoCo Beach where I had the drivers name before he even came to pick us up (also had a way to communicate with the driver via WhatsApp and he came and found us at our meeting point so we weren't searching for a random car). This is a small resort, don't go here expecting to party the night away, it's not the place for that. It IS a place for relaxing, swimming in the pools, having a couple drinks, and enjoying the buffets. Rooms were wonderful and everything was in good order. Would definitely stay again. "
