"The property information on Expedia was incorrect - there is no laundry available. I specifically booked because we needed to do laundry during our stay so this was extremely disappointing. The room was clean, but very basic. Mini fridge was old and didn't get very cold. Bathroom fan wasn't functional and it showed because there was mold on the ceiling in bathroom. For the price and location it was a fine for a bed to sleep in for one night. I would not stay for longer. "

"We had a truly great time at this castle. It was everything we had hoped for during our stay. The castle is updated while keeping a lot of it's original charm. Driving to it was so scenic, with tons of green rolling hills to drive through and an olive tree lined path just before you get to the castle. It is not very far from Siena. And the church bells from the clock tower were very relaxing. Highly recommended."

"It’s not often that 19 members of an American family have the occasion to be treated like royalty in a magnificent Tuscan castle! The physical venue, including the antique furniture to the billiard table to the large classic dining room table and carved chairs, is matched by the views of cypress trees, olive groves, vineyards and stone towers dating to the 1300s. "This place was amazing! We stayed 3 nights and truly enjoyed our stay. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were clean. The location is great and the property was absolutely gorgeous! There are several cute towns nearby to grab groceries, meals or a coffee. There were also several wineries nearby. You definitely will want to rent a car as taxi's to this area can be very expensive, but it's well worth it!"

"Beautiful, quiet and clean property that is a pleasure to come back to after a long day. Short taxi ride to city center and we also rented a car and it was not too far from places we wanted to visit. Great breakfast options at the buffet. The staff was very helpful and accommodating and pleasant. We had great massages, ate two delicious dinners and had breakfast there everyday. Our room was clean and very comfortable. I would highly recommend if you want to be close to everything but not in city center. "

"Beautiful hotel! Very clean and spacious room. It was four of us-me, my husband and our two kids (6 and 13 yrs). There was enough area in the room for all of us. It is loft style so there is a bed upstairs and one downstairs. It is right in front of the tram station so if you need to go anywhere just hop on the tram. We walked a lot and it was easy walk to Duomo, Uffizi and other central area. Lot of restaurants near by the hotel. I would definitely stay here again when I am in Florence next time. "
