"Our family had a wonderful stay at Hale Hapuna. There were 15 of us and there was something for everyone, from the 3 year olds to the 70 year olds. It was a perfect vacation. Everyone enjoyed the walkable beaches, the beautiful views and the spacious living areas. We would definitely do it all over again!"

"1The location of property was great with a balcony that overlooked the bay. Beach was within walking distance as were Dukes restaurant and Skinny Mikes with great shaved ice and ice cream. The place is basic, no bells or whistles, but it was very pleasant and was clean, beds were comfortable. It was a reasonable price."

"Awesome place, we had the best time. The house was very open, spacious with great views right across from one of the best beaches in Kauai. Highly, highly recommended this place. Pool, hot tub and all the amenities that you need. The hosts are extremely accommodating…we never used the AC just had the windows opened the whole time."

"House was nice and in a great location. There was construction going on at two of the neighbors properties that was a bit bothersome. We did have the maintenance worker show up and enter the property un announced which was not something i was happy with or prepared for. Notice would have been nice. I believe the purpose of the visit was to confirm the number of people we had there, although he fixed two minor issues that could have waited. The pool was fun. The AC blew cold and kept the house...

"Our host anticipated our every need. From the kitchen to the beach toys, we had everything we needed. The view was more majestic in person. The photos do not do it justice. The outdoor space was perfect. We loved eating breakfast and dinner on the patio."

"This resort is absolutely perfect! It’s right on one of my favorite beaches. Location is killer and the grounds are absolutely stunning. I did knock a star off of the cleanliness because I noticed some red makeup type stains on the tile underneath the cabinets in the master bathroom, but other than that, it was clean and perfect. We would definitely stay here again. "

"Poipu Kai is a great location when visiting Kauai. This home has three bedrooms which is great for 1-2 families. Plenty of beds, futons and porta-cribs for littles. Overhead fans but NO A/C which is a big drawback during summer months. It gets quite hot and takes a long time to cool down, especially if there's not much of an evening breeze. Would be helpful if there were black out curtains on all windows to keep the heat out and additional fans as the overhead fan in of the bedrooms was not very...

"Very good, surprise by the closure of the restaurant"

"Upon arrival I was a bit confused by the Outrigger and Kauai Villas as they sit side by side. Counter staff was friendly and welcoming. Good to see that we could use the Outrigger's three pools and restaurant but unknown why we couldn't use their gym. Arriving to the room, the view out the sliding window was breathtaking; direct view of ocean waves crashing; it was phenomenal. The room itself looked to be a timeshare that was converted into a vacation villa. Furniture was a bit outdated...

"Property well decorated and accommodating with all essentials. Just be aware there’s no A/C and during heat of day it’s quite warm. This property is on the ground floor so limited air flow at certain times of the day. "

"Beautiful natural views, friendly wildlife & a kind, cozy place. The Kaua’i Inn is situated underneath gorgeous mountains and is lush with beautiful flowers and tropical flora. Vivid flowers dot the common areas of the inn like hibiscuses and plumerias, giving it a striking splash of color. Wild chickens & peacocks freely walk around the property. These birds are friendly, which make for great photo opportunities. Cute, small geckos also call the property home, as well as several neighborhood house cats. The staff is very warm and friendly, ready to help even without asking, like when one staff member kindly brought us extra towels while we swam in the pool. The Kaua’i inn is very cozy and our room was the perfect size for a vacationing couple looking to relax and enjoy the slow, easygoing pace of Kaua’i. It was very neat and clean. We are very happy with our time there. Mahalo, Kaua’i Inn, for making our stay as beautiful as your inn."

"For a budget friendly price, it was a very spacious 2 bedroom/bathroom villa. The rooms are dated but totally fine. The only complaint was the master room in B16 did not cool and smelled mildewy. I ended up turning off that unit and blew a fan from the living down the hall to the bedroom. That worked ok. I did tell the desk about the AC issue. The grounds and access to the Outrigger pools and bars welas great. Very friendly staff. Would stay again. "
