"1 night stay, so didn't have enough time to try out the pool, but otherwise an enjoyable stay. Staff were amazingly friendly, helpful and informative. Room was nice size with comfy bed and little extras like robes and slippers. Only issue was no shower gel in shower just shampoo and conditioner. Had an evening meal which we thoroughly enjoyed. Possibly a little short staffed in the evening, but the women, who appeared to be the duty manager, was on top of everything and copingg efficiently My one complaint would be I had asked before arrival about access to EV charger and was told it was on a first come first served basis. On arrival 2 cars were either side of the charger. One was ICE and the other hybrid. Neither were using charger even though there were half a dozen free parking bays. With only 13% left I was able to squeeze into a small bay at end and run cable to car. I didn't have to ask the hotel to intervene, but I wonder what they could have done anyway if a had. Especially as the EV charger was a deciding factor in choosing this hotel Would definitely come back and for more than a single night next time, but would hope that they look at a more robust policy regarding the charger."

"Wonderful hotel and spa with a great aspect across Grasmere. The staff were all friendly, professional and contributed to a lovely stay. Only a short walk to Grasmere village and some decent hikes on the doorstep."

"Lovely clean accommodation. We stayed out of season so parking was not an issue. Staff all super friendly and helpful. Loved the fresh milk provided for our room daily, much better than the usual UHT given at most hotels! Breakfast was fantastic, great selection and service. Would definitely recommend "

"Wonderful stay. We booked it to break up a trip back home from the Highlands in Scotland. We were welcomed on arrival with a quick check in and then we had a lovely walk round the lake. The food was lovely and the drinks well priced. Wednesday night was quiz night which we really enjoyed. Breakfast in the morning was lovely. We will definitely stay again. "
