"Over all very nice spot. Room was nice and beds were very comfortable! The room was hot with no way to shut off the heater or cool it down. Also you need a code to get your key out of a box in front of the building. Not sure if we missed a message or what, but we never received a code. Thankfully there were other guests who let us use their code to retrieve our key otherwise I’m not sure if we would have gotten in that night. "

"What an amazing find up so high up in the mountains. Huge room with great views of the church and mountains. The set 3 course evening meal with water and a bottle of wine for 2 was great value at €30 each."

"The Hotel Maria Manuela is great; nice rooms, and the Spa is excellent. Located at Benia de Onis, is a great option off the beaten path, surrounded by nature; the food at the restaurants across the Hotel is amazing. Do not leave without visiting the store next door to the hotel where they sell local cheese, iberico ham, bread and of course Cider. "

"Up the twisty road you will find a hidden gem. A reflection of the hard work, care and friendliness of its host. So helpful when you ask for advice when and lovely to talk to. "Took a bit of finding, directions could be more specific. Fairly obscure turn off main Rd. However once found, easy peasy. Staff really friendly and so helpfull. Would certainly stat there again. In fact we have spoken about a return visit."

"We ended up with an 80 Euro parking fine because the staff didn't have enough sense to tell us how the parking lot in back of the hotel worked (what the rules were). For the sake of having parked 12 minutes "early" before 6 PM on Friday night, we ended up with an 80 Euro fine even though we moved our car by 9 AM and leave on Saturday, as we were instructed to do. Hotels should either provide guest parking, or else clearly instruct guests as to the necessary procedures."
