No air conditioning and we were not able to keep the windows open because there was no screen provided on the windows And bugs would get inside the room. We had to keep the windows closed at night. I fell The first time I used the shower in the bathroom because the bathtub was very slick and there was nothing to hold on. I injured my head and my right hand trying to hold on to something. Go for the View

"Beautiful view from the terrace, as shown in the photos. We never met the host, because of our late arrival, but he did answer questions via text as needed. His tips about visiting the national park were very helpful. Try to arrive in daylight as the house is very hard to find in the dark! "

Away from it all but only a stone's throw from a bustling centre.

"The property is beautifully clean and very well presented, about 8 miles from busy Cangas De Onis in a very rural, small village in the hills. Perfect for those, like us, wanting to be away from it all and perfect for exploring the spectacular Picos de Europa. Most of the time the tiny village of Llano de Con is very peaceful, only being disturbed by cowbells or the barking of dogs and there is a local bar with shop attached so basic provisions are easily acquired. Carlos and Gemma are a very hard working couple with interests in construction, cattle and dogs and your paths won't often cross even though La Pumarada is attached to their house but when they do cross you will find them very friendly and helpful. Enjoy your stay, we certainly did!"

Comfortable stay in Covadonga

"Our host was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The old-style room was big enough and had a view up to the basilica. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent. Parking just out front. The reception area was down and around a path to the rear of the building. There is a footpath behind the property which takes you up to the magnificent basilica and awesome cave chapel and it was a short drive to take the shuttle bus up to Los Lagos. "
