"A truly relaxing property. Huge, beautiful gardens provided the most serene setting for sitting out under the olive trees. A large pool where you could really get your laps in and lemon and lime trees with an abundance of fruit to pick. The house was very traditional. Lots of space and a very quirky ground floor. "Excellent holiday home for a group. Plenty of sitting areas. Kitchen well equipped. Lots of towels supplied. The home was very clean. Mattresses not the best. No mirrors in bedrooms. Internet extremely slow and not available in some areas of the house. Could have used more umbrellas for shade at the pool. A car is definitely a must. Very steep incline from town back up to villa. "We had a splendid stay. The house was just as described. All amenities described were provided. The owner, Filipe, is very responsive and helpful with any questions. We had no issues. We enjoyed the peacefulness yet close to town. As for the driveway from precious comments, yes it is steep, but we had no issues at all! We followed Felipe’s advice and we were fine."

"The views from this place of the mountains were spectacular. Very quiet and peaceful. The above ground pool was welcome in the heat wave. Large fridge was handy. Lots of fruit trees in the yard and no mosquitoes in August! The neighbourhood is very traditional, including very narrow roads with stone walls on the way in. If you have a large car, you'll have to pull the mirrors in and hope you don't meet another car. There is a good pizza shop within walking distance and a beautiful bar that...

"Unique place in a village! Very quiet and peaceful setting with a stunning view of a valley. Dona Cila was particularly helpful and pleasant! The access to the place was a bit challenging. Other than that we enjoyed it very much. "

"La casa es preciosa y muy cómoda y la zona es espectacular y muy bien ubicada. El único pero, que para nosotros no ha sido pequeño, son las campanadas de la iglesia del pueblo, que está enfrente y que empiezan a sonar a partir de las 07 am cada media hora haciendo muy difícil poder dormir a partir de esa hora."

"Great location. If you want to walk, this is the place to do it. Beautiful and historic. Very clean but bed very uncomfortable. We also had little or no service during our 8 night stay. We had to find clean sheets and towels midway through our stay and change our on linens. If you don’t mind doing this, you’ll be okay. If you want service during your stay this place won’t make you happy. But again, locates phenomenal!"

"This guy needs to communicate with guests better. I requested how to get in the day before, then twice the morning of my arrival. I didn't hear from him until 2:30 pm and check in was at 3. I was in Braga at that point and had to go wait in a cafe until I got his email. (It was raining) When I showed up at the place, a couple was outside trying to get in. Then later, after I returned around 8 pm, another couple was outside who couldn't get in. I let them in."

"A fabulous stop on the Camino for our family. Made use of the swimming pool (but remember to bring swim caps as they are 5 euros to purchase on site). Spacious rooms. Incredibly comfortable beds. Fabulous breakfast buffet. "
