"Neither pictures nor words capture this property. Our group of 8 (2 families) stayed here in August, and the space is spectacular. We spent hours outside - moving between the porch with the stunning views, the pool where the kids played for hours while adults read; and ending the evenings with an outdoor dinner by the grill. There was ample space to spread out, and the property was gorgeously landscaped. We loved hearing the tinkle of bells as goats roamed the hills nearby. The kitchen was...

"Nous avons passé une semaine de rêve dans la maison d'Orlando et Helena (4 adultes, une ado de 17 ans et deux enfants de 8 ans) Ils nous ont très gentiment accueillis pour nous expliquer le fonctionnement de la maison. "This guy needs to communicate with guests better. I requested how to get in the day before, then twice the morning of my arrival. I didn't hear from him until 2:30 pm and check in was at 3. I was in Braga at that point and had to go wait in a cafe until I got his email. (It was raining) When I showed up at the place, a couple was outside trying to get in. Then later, after I returned around 8 pm, another couple was outside who couldn't get in. I let them in."

A wonderful Gem

"This place is unbelievably beautiful and wonderful. The hotel uses nautical flags instead of room numbers as a nod to the town’s history. The rooms are large, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was a very good European style breakfast. What really makes this place is the staff. Albert checked us in and then gave us a brief history of the hotel and explained different sites around town. After walking around a bit, we promptly booked a second night. This will be my go to when coming to Viana do Castelo "

"It was pleasant, but extremely basic! There were nothing to drink water with - not even throw away cups! The pilows were about 5 metres thick. As far as towels were concerned we had two bath towels and only one face towel. The rooms were clean. The breakast was more than expected and fresh and enjoyable. The breakfast area was modern with lovely touches, the design of the chairs surprisingly delightful. The location of the hotel was spot on!"
