"This is a very remote and quiet hotel with a potential gold mine of a location. They are doing some additions which could make this even more beautiful. I wish they would. Clear some more of the brush that blocks a lot of the lake view. It’s very nice as is but could be breathtaking if they did more clearing. "

"Perfect for our weekend getaway! Excellent communication from host. Property was just as stated. Probably our best experience so far with vacation rentals. I would definitely recommend and will stay again if we are in the area."

A country like a neighborhood with nature all around.

"We were local folks looking for a little break. The place is small (as advertised) - two bedrooms, one bathroom a mini fridge/microwave - no formal kitchen. Unfortunately, we got in, walked around and were hit by a really strong smell of cigarette odor. We've got some family allergies and chose not to stay."

"Wish we actually could have been there longer. We were just there for a night before flying out of DFW. Even our Uber driver that dropped us off thought it was super cool where it was. Kind of fun to also hear the crowd of a Friday night high school football game from the house. Loved the eggs and honey too. And the bunnies everywhere. "

"My party had a peaceful two night stay. The oak trees on the property were breathtaking and the two Great Pyrenees who lived on site were delightful company. The interior of the cabin was cosy and clean kept with comfortable sleeping arrangements and some complimentary snacks. The true magic of the cabin is definitely the wrap around porch with ample lounge chairs and a hammock to sway in. The perfect place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee. A wholesome reset from the buzz of city life. Thank you...
