"We very much enjoyed our stay, taking time to visit Blaye, St Emilion and the city Bordeaux. Places we would happily visit again. We ate outside in the shade of the cherry tree each night. The well stocked DVD library meant our kids were never short of entertainment. The owner Herve gave very good advice on local amenities and places to eat. The property is in a quiet neighbourhood of the village and we enjoyed several walks to the nearby banks of the Dordogne river. We recommend this property...

"This apartment turned out to be ideal for me. The tram line was a 10-minute walk, and a LeClerc supermarket about a 6-minute walk. It isn't very close to any of the area attractions, but that means it was very quiet and peaceful, especially out in the beautiful garden! Everything is accessible by bus or tram, however. The house was conveniently located a short walk from public transportation and allowed us to easily see the city of Bordeaux as well as a trip to the nearby wineries. Nothing special to do in the closed surroundings apart canoë but great base to explore a little further: Dune de Pilat and bassin d’Arcachon, Bordeaux the oenologue tour is interesting including testings, Montbazillac and Saint Emilion without missing the historique part of Bergerac. "Wonderful property. Conveniently located less than an hour from most of the places we wanted to visit. It reminded us of the houses in Beauty and the Beast, but with running water, electricity and a pool. We had dinner under the outdoor covered eating area every night. One of us saw Tracey every day to ask questions about the place or the area. She was very available. Plenty of grocery stores and bakeries near by. Highly recommend the place."

"This was our second visit to this hotel. Previously we came in a summer ,but this visit was on the last day of Bordeaux Xmas market. The hotel is situated on the tram line which you can buy tickets at the machine or on the app. To get into centre takes about ten mins. Across from hotel is the river which you can walk into Bordeaux with lots of restaurants and shops. A lot shut in the winter, but definitely worth a nice walk.
