"My husband and I spent a week in this villa. We were welcomed by the owner's father, Celestino who is a very friendly man; The house is comfortable, spacious and very clean. The garden is very private with a small swimming-pool. You can use the garage which is a bonus as it is safe and cool. The villa is well situated near lots of interesting places and not far from the Atlantic. We visited Batalha, Alcobaça, Nazaré, Ourem and Tomar. Sehr gepflegtes Haus mit Pool in ruhiger, ländlicher Umgebung am Waldrand mit einer hervorragend ausgestatteten Küche, geschmackvoller und gleichzeitig funktionaler Einrichtung. In der Nähe von Coimbra und ca. 1 Stunde Autofahrt vom Meer entfernt in zentraler Lage im Land, um Ausflüge in verschiedene Richtungen zu machen. "Excellent information regarding access to the villa and it’s resources. Very impressed with how well equipped the villa is with regards to everyday amenities. Really spacious with lots of different seating areas inside and out. Plenty to see and do in the area such as Tomar, Obidos and the wooden walkway at Sao Samao made easier by easy access to the motorway. Villa was very clean. Pool is a good size and a real suntrap but would have appreciated a midweek pool clean and more information on...

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the home of Jos! The house was located close to cafe's and attractions in Penela. The house is very well stocked with utensils, small appliances and anything you could need to feel at home. The house was clean and the back yard area was pleasant to sit out and view the mountain. "This new renovated property was lovely for a four day stay. There is lots of room indoors as well as outside for the kids. We enjoyed the fire in the lounge and were glad of the blankets and radiators in the bedrooms which made a cozy stay when the weather wasn’t very good. We had good day trips to Tomar, Fatima and Batalha. We would come back again in the summer to make good use of the pool and veranda."
