"I wish I did a little more research before booking. This lodge used to be a hostel and still seems more like a hostel than lodge. It would be perfect if I wasn’t traveling with a toddler who wants to get into everything. Location is about a five minute drive from the beach. We saw a ton of deer. It’s a little ways to the shipwreck and lighthouse. Great for trail access. Overall, if you’re traveling with small children or folks who overheat easily, maybe not the best place. "We really enjoyed the cozy spaciousness of this clean home, with multiple rooms to choose from, ample space to relax and a super functional kitchen. The host was very considerate of our needs, and left us welcome goodies on the counter which was an unexpected treat. We enjoyed the fireplace and wood was even provided. Could not have asked for more for a memorable weekend getaway!"

"We were extremely happy with our stay.The view of the ocean was spectacular as we had the perfect view of the beach and dramatic sunset from the deck. The house was comfy and warm feeling with lots of quaint items that the owner has decorated with to make you feel at home...
