"We spent our Christmas week in the cabin with some family. Great experience. Issues that other guests have had are fixed already or fixable with common sense. For instance, the downstairs bedroom with the queen bed is coldest, keep the door open. It took us one night to figure that out. Check the vents to make sure they’re open. Loft is the warmest (duh, hot air rises). Kitchen had almost everything you need, but no spices but so what, not a big deal to grab in town, try out grocery outlet! They have everything! Upstairs bathroom had some issues with warmth, but it wasn’t cold. Just wasn’t super hot. I’m always freezing but I managed to use this shower for our entire 5 day stay. Downstairs shower has hotter water so if you like that better, go use that one. Some spider webs, but never saw a spider. It’s a mountain, spiders live there too. They definitely caused no issue for us. We had an issue at check in but it was resolved within 30 minutes and we were able to get into the beautiful cabin. Nice big clean fridge. The pool table was a great time. The cabin was clean and quiet, plenty of room, and worked well for our group. We had a wonderful Christmas, and can’t think of any real complaints. Perfect location for us. Close to town. Everything was clean, everything works. Loved the wrap around porch and views. Our party ranged in age from 11-67 and everyone enjoyed their time. "Such a cute cabin. Looks rustic on the outside, but nicely remodeled on the inside. But the owner kept the historic details. Perfect! The heat worked great. A large cozy sofa and ottoman and nice big TV was perfect for our family to enjoy holiday movies. Also a beautiful table with bench seat for meals and playing games. Our daughter loved the back bedroom with windows on two walls. She spent most of the time reading books and enjoying the sunrise and sunsets. There was another good sized bedroom next door with newer laundry machines. The large master suite upstairs was nice too. Very spacious and nicely updated bathroom. A short walk to the lake, market, and tasty pizza restaurant and bar. Great for pet owners. A short drive to the main village. I recommend going to breakfast and dinner early because long waits at prime meal times is normal there. "
