"Undergoing some updating which is needed. Breakfast was subpar, but mainly because there were so few guest due to renovations happening. Had there been more guest staying there They would’ve had better service, attendance and quality of food. But that all being said, I would stay there again with no problem."

"The weather turned for the worse a few weeks prior to our stay. We hoped for the best and got snow several days but the Aurora showed us what we needed the last night there. So incredible we caught it. Great accommodations and the Pizza Bus did not disappoint. Pleasant Valley store had a nice mix of things you need as well. Thanks for the great stay Alaska! "

"Our group are all Californians. Our sole mission was to see the Aurora Borealis, none of us had ever seen them.Nancy our host was absolutely phenomenal! She gave us so many suggestions of what to do in the area and she immediately became our new friend. The best host I’ve ever had!!The cabin is charming and extremely clean. The loft was a fun bedroom to stay in for an additional couple. They felt like kids climbing up and down the ladder!The location was perfect, less than 5 minutes to town, tucked away in the woods. Nancy the host has stocked the cabin with everything to cook with. Coffee Pot, coffee and accoutrements were provided.We were not disappointed and yes… we got to see the Aurora Borealis! It was awesome!!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed this property! The cabin is cozy and comfortable! This secluded cabin served us well! The view of the distant mountains and the wide open skies along with the Aurora nightly was excellent! Our host kept us informed and was very hospitable! Our dog sledding adventure was the highlight of our vacation!! Being a dog sled racing fan and having the privilege to sled behind a team of athletes that just completed the Iditarod! A 1000 mile race for a second place finish with Top Musher Matt Hall! We had the the opportunity to meet Matt‘s wife and musher, Elke who recently proved herself a forced to be reckoned with in a race this past winter! These are top-notch folks! "Very convenient location to Chena Lakes to view the Northern lights and do snow activities. The unit was clean and comfortable and had everything we need during our stay. The location was very quiet even though the unit is connected to the main house. The owner is very responsive. "
