"Our family had an unforgettable stay at Gilmore House! Visiting Fairbanks after Christmas and ringing in the New Year here was truly magical.This trip was all about seeing the Aurora Borealis for the first time, and thanks to Laura's thoughtful texts when the lights appeared, we got to experience their breathtaking beauty. Midnight wake-ups were completely worth it!We also loved exploring the area - dog sledding, ice fishing, visiting the Santa Claus House, and soaking in Chena Hot Springs (frozen hair and all!) were highlights for everyone. The sledding slope nearby and playing in the snow made for hours of fun, despite the frigid temperatures.Ringing in the New Year at the cabin was extra special. The welcome basket with New Year goodies made it a night to remember. We enjoyed celebrating with fireworks (and Laura) at midnight! :)The cabin was warm, cozy, and had almost everything we needed. We especially loved the beautiful sunrises and sunsets right from the windows. Laura, your kindness and hospitality - along with the personal touches - made our stay feel so special.Thank you for an incredible Alaska adventure!"

"Our family had an amazing stay over the Christmas holiday. Cabin was clean and well maintained. We throughly enjoyed the hot tub in the cold temps. Great quiet neighborhood allowed for nice walks. Also close proximity to town made it easy for dining and grocery shopping. Check in with Ron was easy with great communication. Highly recommend! Thank you! "

"The hotel is really stylish with lots of designer’s touch in both architecture and interior design. The location is a bit far from the city but it’s a great place for aurora viewing. The view from those huge glass windows is stunning. The nature outside of the building is gorgeous too. Kevin has been very informative and helpful. A few minor things: 1) the entry way is a bit messy with all the shoes/boots unorganized; 2) there is a second floor but no elevator or helpers with luggage"
