"Bilitis was very easy to work with! She was responsive to all my questions before and during our trip. She coordinated an excursion to the Celeste waterfall with rafting, massages multiple days for 10 people and a morning yoga session for our group. The location of this home is its best feature! You are close to restaurants, a small market, the marina and beach. We traveled with 3 families - 6 adults and 5 high schoolers for Springbreak. This was our second time to Playa Flamingo. We loved our stay and would definitely return!"

"Beautiful grounds, loved that it was right in town and right on the beach. Parking was easy and although traffic makes driving slow it was much better to have a car than pay for shuttle. "

"Fourth visit to this resort, last time was 5 years ago. Excellent service & staff! Some managers remembered us from prior years, that really meant something! Still prefer the buffet to the restaurants. Reception staff kind and accommodating. Two negative things, one was the trash and glasses/plates left around the resort for days, and the trash on the beach, second thing was the lax attitude regarding (lack of) clothes at the dinning places and people smoking right outside of the entrances or vaping indoor (not in designated areas). An adult only option would be nice since children were running around and screaming constantly and hanging out in "adult" areas. Overall appreciate the CR people and beautiful surroundings. "Villa Ocaso did not disappoint! Spent a week with friends at this absolutely stunning property in beautiful Playa Flamingo. The wonderfully private villa was well appointed with many nods to Costa Rica's rich history. From the moment we stepped off the plane our every need was met. Everyone from the Property manager to the transportation company, housekeeper, and chefs were amazing. We also opted for some additional services which were absolutely fantastic. This property is a must stay! Will absolutely be returning. "
