"We had 4 couples in our party. Each couple had their own bedroom with bathroom. The living room, kitchen, the whole upstairs was very spacious. The basement was the same, and walks right out to the yard and hot tub. Beautiful property! It was a bit chilly but the deck was amazing and great view! Communication was great as well."

Some minor details would have improved our stay (for example extra sets of towels and items for the kitchen such as tin foil and storage containers). My personal favorite was the backyard view, complete with a little stream, a historic red barn, and the sound of the birds in the morning. "My wife and I, our four kids and four grandkids did a ski weekend and stayed in the Galena Territories. This house was the best! Having a bathroom in each bedroom was a very nice convenience. Everyone enjoyed sitting in the spa outside with snow on the ground.The owners were friendly, easy to connect with and were are super responsive when needed! Already planning an adult golf weekend and will be back in this house if it's available!"

"Beautiful view of Galena; historic home gave us a good feel for living well in the 1850s (except for modern conveniences); easy drive to downtown.We would not recommend this home if you need a walker, wheelchair, or other walking aids; parking in the back alley was a bit of a challenge for our mid-size SUV.Overall, we had a pleasant stay."

"Our stay was great. The cabin is very clean and well kept. The only issues that we had was the grill never came up to heat might need the gas burners cleaned out and the dryer in the basement took about 3 times to get clothes dry. We LOVE coming to this cabin as this is the 2nd time to rent and we our planning to rent again. Thanks for the great stay and letting us use your cabin."

"This was prefect for us. It is a nice walk into town, so there is no need to try and find a parking spot. Although on the main road through town, it is very quite and even with others in the home, we did not hear anyone else. "

"I can't say enough good things about The Cottage on Lake Galena. My wife and I have stayed at a number of houses in the Territories over the years and this is one of our favorite. Great views, fireplaces, hot tub, easy check-in and more. We will definitely be returning. "
