"Mariposa is located on the beautiful beach.The resort is very small and creates very cozy and private environment The resort is well maintained very close to local airport. They have little restaurant but we had rental car and explored local Placencia restaurants. The staff is very friendly. We booked treehouse but they have construction on the property grounds. "What a beautiful resort. After coming from San Pedro this place was truly paradise. The staff is friendly and everyone is always willing to help. The restaurants are delicious. The concierge will book everything for you so please use them. Take some time to go to the gift shop and have some delicious pizza! The rooms are amazing just be careful with the mosquitos.
