"A budget hotel near the Plaza de Armes. The staff were pleasant and friendly. Decent free breakfast. Reasonably quiet. Showers were cool, not sure if we were doing something wrong as we didn’t check with the staff. "We had a wonderful time staying at Casa Tunki! We stayed in a private room and utilized the unisex shared bathroom. Our beds and linens were comfortable and there was enough space in our room to lay out our suitcases as we needed to repack. There was also housekeeping services who made the private room when we went out to explore (I didn’t know there was housekeeping service so this was a nice surprise). The courtyard patio is beautiful. Breakfast is included and I highly recommend you attend!...

"When I arrived with a friend I was told that we didn't have a reservation after the woman thought I was the one who booked & cancelled the room. We walked inside to resolve this issue but the place was filled with dogs and excretes. The woman couldn't find our reservation even though I clearly had the confirmation from hotels.com. she was very rude when we tried to leave to find a cleaner hostel. A guy was just staring at us with strange looks from the couch. I would not recommend staying here...

"My solo trip to Casa de la Gringa was the best gift I’ve ever given to myself!
