"Location, location, location! So quiet and peaceful. We stayed during winter so even more peaceful. Did not catch and fish but were told they migrate in winter. That was evident as we are avid anglers. Mt. Airy has all services and supplies one might need plus plenty of places to eat and historical things to do. The cons: Well water with sulfur smell. "This is house is amazing, it was perfect. Initially, it was supposed to be for just four ladies we ended up growing to eight ladies. This house was ample space and had everything we needed. The host Lina was responsive and quite accommodating when an early arrival was needed. I meet up with my friends annually in this area, we will definitely book this property again. "As usual Holly Hill Cabin did not disappoint! Spotless, well-stocked (complete with a birthday cake from owner Kim and Randy), beautiful grounds and landscaping, adorable donkeys, goats, ducks and very entertaining Guinea hens. Enjoyed hiking at Stone Mountain State Park and Pilot Mountain and shopping and strolling around Mt. Airy.
