I can't fault The Old Barn Inn, it's a 6 min drive to Celtic Manor to charge my car, room and facilities very good (clean as mentioned) and the Breakfast was just PERFECT! In brief, I am gluten-free (Coeliac) and picky!.. the staff member accommodated my 'almost burnt Bacon' request, and everything...

"The staff were very welcoming. I was traveling alone so decided to book the snug bedroom. I was pleasantly surprised. It was well equipped with tea and coffee facilities, large disabled access wet room. TV and an extra rad if I was cold. For the one night stay it had everything I needed. Breakfast was delicious with fresh orange juice and service you could not fault"

"Nice style and furnishings, all amenities I needed. Felt slightly wary arriving at night as access was an exterior side entrance with no working lighting. However I felt safe in the room and any noise from the pub downstairs was minimal. The room had signs of damp on some walls and the shower had mould patches. There were good quality tea and coffee options as well as toiletries. The bed was really comfy. Overall a comfy and convenient stay. "

"This was an overnight stay while working locally and this place was chosen for its location and the fact that it’s a pub as well. The room was nice but could do with some TLC but I was very comfortable. The bar area was a little cold but I soon warmed up with the lovely food that was on offer and the staff were really friendly and helpful which is why I would recommend this place to others thinking of staying here."

"Attractively designed, clean and well-equipped rooms located right in the centre of Bath. Good value. However, automated check in is poor and overcomplicated - including recieving a QR code which then won't work. Note that room doors unlock remotely - so you'll be scratching at the door like a velociraptor in Jurassic Park until approx 15:00 when it unlocks. No proper reception so I'd recommend against arriving any earlier unless you've paid for early check in. Anyway, a perfectly nice apartment...
