"We enjoyed our stay. Our host did not speak much English, but we managed to get by by using hand gestures. The property was conveniently located on the main road, as a result, it can be noisy with passing cars when we opened the windows. If the windows could open out, it would have been an added bonus as the view from the flat looks directly onto one of the gates to the City wall. Overall, it was a comfortable stay."

"We enjoyed our stay at Villa Anica. It was about a 15 minute walk down to the old city (although be prepared for some uphill to get back. The accommodation was good. The bed is soft as I prefer it with a sheet and blanket as opposed to a duvet. The air conditioning worked well, the bathroom is spacious, and the building common areas and garden are beautiful. There was provided a kettle to make morning coffee and tea, as well as a refrigerator with a few drinks and some fruit and other...

"My wife and I are in agreement that we have never stayed in nor will we ever find another vacation property that clean. Not a speck of dirt or mold to be found. Sheets, blankets, glasses, bathrooms impeccably clean. The location is steps from the busy Pile Gate, yet it's quiet at the property. The pictures do not do the terrace views justice. Absolutely stunning!"

"The property was extremely well kept. It was close enough to Old Town and in a great location. The contact was extremely responsive and provided great information that made accessing the property super easy. The only complaint, if any, is that the bathroom is very tight. Not a real problem for us, however those that want a little more space may be a little disappointed with the bathroom. Overall I give our stays 4.5/5 stars. "

"The location is perfect - just by the old town (but not in it, meaning its more calm and quiet) and with an incredible view out the window. The apartment is small but we did not need anything more for our stay. Neno was a fantastic host, meeting us for our late arrival and giving us lots of tips for Dubrovnik. Highly recommend if in need of a great base to explore Dubrovnik from. "

"Location was really good, 10 mins walk down hill to old town and bus back up for €2. Very accommodating with dietary needs beautiful breakfast on the terrace. Lovely big superior rooms 5star, extremely comfortable beds, mini fridge and excellent air conditioning. Excellent host plenty of treats and towels even left a birthday treat for me. "This is a beautiful home with a lot of history. We were a group of 10 and were very comfortable with plenty of room. Only a 15 min walk to Old Town, a swimming spot right across the street ( a lot of stairs). Easy Uber stop two doors up by the bus stop/ flower shop. Eci the house manager was a lovely woman and always available if needed. I would highly recommend signing up for this one!!"
