The front desk and restaurant staff were so friendly and welcoming. Our seaview room was spacious and comfortable. Great location to the ferry terminal.

Nice location and friendly service. The conditions of the hotell is ok for what you pay for. Good to live there but we used the other restaurants and bar on the other side of the water that was more fancy.

Great place to stay..
This is a great hotel, situated beautifully by the water and simple in it's decor and offer to guests. Stayed here with a friend and we both loved it, excellent breakfast and lovely to sit and look at the water whilst eating away. 100% recommend for value stays in Dubrovnik.

We had a wonderful experience at the Hotel Vis. View from our room was stunning. Staff, especially Vesna, went above and beyond to make our stay very pleasant. Breakfast was included and delicious! We are coming back!!!

The view from balcony was best thing about this hotel. Very outdated, no elevator, cafeteria style dining area (not a plus) staff was polite but not very helpful. Stayed here one night before getting on a boat trip.

Hotel Vis is about 2.3 miles from Dubrovnik Old Town. Lapad and its beach/promenade are very nice and relaxing. I walked to Old Town and back on two occasions. A bus route is available as are taxis.

We got a room with a huge balcony with an excellent view. The hotel is worn and there is mold here and there. There is also a funky smell in the hotel. Breakfast is ok. No sunbeds were provided (mid October).

I would stay here again. Had a beautiful sea view. There is no elevator so if you have issues with stairs, it's not the place for you. Very walkable area. Bus right across the street from the hotel. Breakfast wasn't so great but there is a bakery right around the corner.. For a three-star hotel and price it was worth it.

Staff were amazing and helped me take my luggage to and from my room. Staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout my stay and were always happy to help when needed. Beautiful view of the sea and quick walk downstairs to the beach!

Amazing own pebble beach for swimming
Amazing to have own pebble beach front with beautiful sea for swimming. Lucky too, we had sea view balcony room with fab views. Hotel needs a refurbish really but nice to see the traditional furniture and decor, must have been a plush place to be in days gone by! Location great, other side of the (currently rundown) Lapad pebble beach seems to be a lot more developed, with a fab promenad (with bars/restaurants inc Cave Bar) for walking, running etc with stunning sea views. Walking to the busy Dubrovnik old town is do-able from hotel if fit, and wonderful for coastal views, but buses go there too.

Staff were great and attentive and the beach access was wonderful. Location is convenient for transportation, beach and restaurants. My only complaint would be the bed in my room seemed like it was old and worn out.
