"We intended to relax, hike, and enjoy beauty. This place looks amazing in photos but does not compare to its look and feel. There are so many interesting details about this home; the owner engages with her guests and is happy to discuss the home's construction and history. The short walk to the Rio Grand is not difficult and has places to take photos and read a book. We left feeling sad our time was over and already miss the views from the bedroom. We will be booking again."

"This property was a great place for our small family of 2 grandparents, 2 parents, a young aduly and 2 grandchildren under the age of 4 to stay. There were a total of 5 adults and 2 kids. We brought our own hand soap and paper towels because in most places that stuff isn’t provided, but there was not only hand soap, but laundry detergent, and shampoo available. "Dirt road to quiet and privacy. Cool evenings . About 45 minutes to Taos which has great food and the Taos Cow. Wife loves the shopping (e.g.Moxie). Josey had a fenced yard and a creek to splash in. We have multiple stays here and the owners have become like family."

"This is such a special property. Each of the rooms - and there are many- are colorful, comfortable, and unique. There is so much to marvel at that it was tempting to stay there inside the whole time. The folk art, the textiles, the paintings, the kivas, (wish we had been able to have a fire in them, but I understand!), the tiles, the books…It’s a house full of wonder and delight. FYI: plumbing is very sensitive and no laundry facilities. "

"The house is lovely. The renovations were done with care and attention to detail. Not often you can get a house with two bedrooms and two large bathrooms as well as brand new kitchen appliances. Very nice and comfy stay convenient to the Plaza and tourist spots. "
