"We had a nice, peaceful stay! We’ll be back someday! Bed was very comfortable, but did squeak a little when getting off the bed. Not enough to bother us. Someone mentioned bugs in a review, and we almost didn’t book, but it was mostly a few ladybugs! If you live in TN, every house has them! And the house is in the woods, so you’ll probably see a few bugs! The host was quick to respond and answer any questions, but leaves you alone and doesn’t bother you! We liked that!"

"We had a big group of adults with cars on a climbing trip - this property was big enough to be comfy for all of us, plenty of space and 4 bathrooms so no fighting over showers, lots of parking. There's only 1 key so we had to do a bit of negotiation when we went separate ways during the day, but that was minor. Overall we loved this spot and would stay again."

"My family and I truly enjoyed our stay here. It was spacious enough that the 12 of us (4 children and 9 adults) were not on top of each other, yet cozy enough that we were able enjoy our early Christmas celebration. Our hosts did a great job of checking in and assuring us that they'd be available if needed. Honesty, everything was so well set up upon arrival that we wanted for nothing! It was clean and accessing entry was a breeze. I'd definitely stay here again."

"My son got married in Crossville and I needed to find a house that would sleep 20 people. This house was perfect, plenty of bedrooms/bathrooms/living spaces. The host provides a ton of towels and extra toiletries. Such a surprise to find toy boxes and baby items that were helpful since some of the family had to fly in and were limited on what they could bring. "My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas vacation at Higher Ground! Our host, Tanna, was amazing! It was easy to communicate with her both before and during our stay. We contacted her for minor things like a question about streaming channels and her advice on restaurants and/or directions. She even suggested a lovely holiday light show for us to visit (we did and it was great).The home was clean and tastefully decorated. We loved the beautiful Christmas tree to help feel the holiday...
