I had wanted to relive and reminisce being at the castle and my experience was just as it was 22 years later at age 35!! "Very hard to check in if you speak English. Hidden entrance to get key to room and not at desk regularly if at all. Finally got a lady who spoke some English and managed to get key but it wasted a few hours of our time "

"Gorgeous place, pool and area around it is very beautiful! Very quiet area, staff was wonderful, very helpful and friendly. Very small TV in room, no internet inside apartment, had to go to the courtyard to get connection. No couch, two arm chairs and dining room table to sit at. Furniture wise - not all all comfortable, beds not very comfortable as well. "

"Het appartement maakt deel uit van een complex met ongeveer 24 appartementen. Het ligt prachtig en comfortabel t.o.v. Asciano. Schitterende vergegezichten. Het appartement zelf is redelijk ruim opgezet, maar wel erg donker. Ook vond ik het niet erg schoon op diverse plaatsen (veel spinraggen). Er was geen ongedierte. De keuken voldeed. Bedden waren redelijk goed. Je moest wel een linnenpakket meenemen of huren. Er is geen airco, maar dat was niet nodig door de hoge plafonds. Je kon erg aardig...

"Amazing small countryside hotel in Tuscany, a medieval 14th century castle like setting with 15 rooms, pool, and small lounge, friendly staff, with limited services, but wifi/ac worked, pool area was nice, as was the grounds, just off autostrata, minutes to grocery, casual dining, outlet mall and the views were of the stunning Tuscan countryside and mountain towns. "Full-size, one bedroom apartment in a modern building close to the train station. It’s next to the railroad tracks, but only 2-3 trains came through at night – after the first night we didn’t notice them (stayed there 4 nights). Nice, helpful manager. "

"Es ist das letzte Haus an der Straße in dem kleinen Ort, also kein Verkehr, nur Ruhe😌. Das Haus war sauber und ordentlich👍. Wir sind angekommen und haben uns gleich wohl gefühlt. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie haben uns sehr gute Empfehlungen von sehenswerten in der Nähe geschickt, welche perfekt auf uns gepasst haben. "One of the best travel experiences we have shared with our daughters (6 and 8)! The place is truly magical. Our daughters loved the property and the garden. It was absolutely beautiful. They felt like they were in an adventure. We stayed in an apartment that was 2 floors. It had 2 adjoining rooms on the second floor and one right outside the 2 main rooms. The bathroom was on the first floor. It had a kitchen and a family room.***The place was a little rugged.*** I emphasize this for American travelers who prefer 3/4/5 star hotels. There was only one bathroom. We lost electricity one night. The staff accommodated us to another room for the night with electricity. However, that room did not have a heater. It was so cold! The staff overall was friendly and attentive. However, we chose not to have our room cleaned during our stay and as a result, it was very hard to get toilet paper. Every time we would go to the main desk to get toilet paper, the staff would ask us questions. I would have to remind them that we opted not to have our room clean. The breakfast was amazing! They had honey and olive oil from La Certosa. It was so delicious. Pilar was incredible! The is very friendly and kind. La Certosa makes it own wine as well. I highly recommend. We attended the optional Christmas 7 course lunch. It was phenomenal. They accommodated my food allergies. We have dined at fine restaurants and this lunch was the best! Overall, we would stay here again. We absolutely loved it!"

"Hotel was great for a quick stop through our EU trip. We had three rooms and the staff was great! We enjoyed food and drinks for the bar and everything was delicious! They even have a 24hr sauna which is nice after traveling all day! Beautiful area, wish we had more time here! The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast we had the whole trip and included in stay! "
