"The hotel on arrival had a clean look with a pleasant perfume smell. The front desk service and booking in was quick and well explained. The room was clean warm and well presented with spare pillow's if needed. The swimming pool is heated and the gym is properly equipped. The menu is typical of a chain hotel. "

"I was travelling my motorbike and they very kindly let me park in an enclosed yard at the back. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Both the public areas and the room were clean and modern. Food in the evening was good and great value, the bar had a good atmosphere with locals and guests. Room included a nice continental breakfast. I would happily stay here again. "

"Had a lovely stay, staff were great, first room, tv wasnt working but staff quickly resolved that by changing rooms, stayed in room 102 with being right by the stairs you can hear the door always slaming, but other than that no complaints, we didnt eat at the resturant, we ordered takeaway to hotel with no issues, asked staff for forks they quickly sorted them we have stayed here a few times never usually have any issues, parking is a bit expensive for only 1 night £10 but same price if ur...

"Love the quirky historic artefacts displayed around - suits the age of the property. Spacious and really clean room and bathroom, super comfortable bed. Great breakfast too and such reasonable pricing. Nice welcome and very helpful staff. Conveniently close to The Robin for our gig. Glad to have found this hotel and will definitely be returning."

"Excellent location, less than 10 minute walk from station and very central for shops. My room was not overlooking main street, no noise at all from outside, even though Friday night and room was lovely and warm with adjustable radiator. Bed comfy and bathroom modern with lovely shower. Nice tea and coffee tray with hot chocolate and biscuits.
