"Bathroom was awful. No room to hang towels, floor covering looked like tar, badly in need of modernisation. Poor standard. Bedroom no chairs, no BBC coverage on TV, beds comfortable, room clean, tea and milk not readily available. Dining areas very clean. Staff we met were always friendly and polite. We had wonderful steak meal on Friday night. "

Middlehead Cottages at Cropton Forest

3.0 star property
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (33)
"Loved the hot tub and private garden as we had 2 dogs. The walk in the forest was lovely and convenient as on our doorstep. If we were being picky, the road leading to the property was at times quite bumpy, so caution with speed is required, but what the property itself has to offer made up for it. It is a home away from home and a good place to getaway from the hustle of life."
