"Ein wunderschönes Haus. Es fehlte an nichts. Aber leider ist der Park nicht sehr gepflegt, auch am Strand war sicherlich schon lange nicht mehr aufgeräumt worden. Leider war der Schwimmteich nur sehr vorsichtig und nur mit Schuhen zu betreten, da die Stufen total glitschig und und verschleimt waren. "If you are looking at visiting the Lake Como area with your kids, or other families, I strongly recommend Mandello and Villa Ornella. The layout of the house is great, the size perfect to accommodate 2 or even 3 families and Furio was a great host. It was just me and my wife and our 3 young (and restless) boys and we had a great time. The pool and the living room with the amazing veranda were perfect family entertainment areas. "Loved our time at this property. We had 14 people and it worked out great. Location so close to the lake was fabulous and we could easily get to the ferry and train stations. Host David was fabulous and always available. Going to Bellagio and Varenna and Mennagio was great since there are no lines at Colico and it is quiet, peaceful and away from tourists at this property. I would recommend and would go back again to this property. Grass area was great for our grandkids to play on and hot tub...
