"It was great to look at the lake. Just be prepared for a lot of stairs and narrow streets with a lot of turns. Some of the issues were that there was still some food left in the fridge, the garbage wasn't clean, the hot water finishes pretty quickly!"

It’s is big enough for a small family but a bit more cutterly and glasses would be nice otherwise you are washing up right after every meal. The hosts are very friendly!!"

"If you are looking at visiting the Lake Como area with your kids, or other families, I strongly recommend Mandello and Villa Ornella. The layout of the house is great, the size perfect to accommodate 2 or even 3 families and Furio was a great host. It was just me and my wife and our 3 young (and restless) boys and we had a great time. The pool and the living room with the amazing veranda were perfect family entertainment areas. The location is great as well - Mandello is close to everything yet...

"Loved our time at this property. We had 14 people and it worked out great. Location so close to the lake was fabulous and we could easily get to the ferry and train stations. Host David was fabulous and always available. Going to Bellagio and Varenna and Mennagio was great since there are no lines at Colico and it is quiet, peaceful and away from tourists at this property. I would recommend and would go back again to this property. Grass area was great for our grandkids to play on and hot tub...

"Such a lovely Villa and a helpful property manager. If you're looking for a unique experience and a beautiful get away then this is your place! Amazing view of Bellagio just across the water on Lago Como. Downtown Varenna is just a short 10 minute drive from the Villa but it feels remote and with the Villa being right on the waterfront, the sounds of the water lapping on the rocks below can lull you to sleep at night.
