"There’s no question it’s a beautiful home overlooking Lake Como, with a charm that is remjniscent of something out of a Harry Potter novel. Unfortunately, the home itself self has a fair amount of deferred maintenance. Lightbulbs were burned out in master bathroom, the door handle on the washing machine was broken, certain shutters didn’t work, there is no air conditioning in any room and some of the wiring is unlikely to be up to code, although I dont know that for sure. "If you are looking at visiting the Lake Como area with your kids, or other families, I strongly recommend Mandello and Villa Ornella. The layout of the house is great, the size perfect to accommodate 2 or even 3 families and Furio was a great host.
