"We had booked a couple of deluxe rooms at this property after reading the great reviews online. We were thoroughly disappointed to see the rooms when we checked in. They had a funky style, old furniture and mosquitoes to boot. Complained to both Expedia and Metadee. They resolved the situation spectacularly! Upgraded both our rooms to 2 separate villas!! The villas were huge improvement and made our stay memorable. Giving them 5 stars for their service. Shout out to Akira and Natcha at the front...

"Renaissance Phuket is a great hotel with an amazing outdoor space and swimming pool. It does need renovation in the rooms and bar area and a bit more attention to cleanness. Some of the staff are really good with a great sense of service. We have been coming for years, but we can’t help to notice that the service and amenities are going down every year. No more welcome plate or snacks, no more turn down service, food in room service is not to standard, they bring food without any protection on...

"Nice room had some issues with broken water pipe that cause brown water to flow in bathtub. For some reason the airconditioning at night caused the floor to get wet and all our hanging clothes to get moist. The tv although not often used had a constant in and out of reception, could be due to location. Tile inside beautiful looking pool with gorgeous view was broken off in a lot of places that caused sharp edges while walking in the pool so tred lightly. The staff was friendly, but not many...
