"Lovely small hotel on the water in Khao Sok National Park. The hotel floats on the water as do all the hotels in the Park. Fabulous service from a friendly staff. Incredibly scenic area on a manmade lake which is pristine. No trash. No powerboats. Only longtail boats for transportation to and from the pier and sightseeing on the lake. The lake is surrounded by and full of beautiful limestone formations. In addition to great service, the food at the hotel was very good. The drinks were strong. It is a wonderful, chill place. If you don’t appreciate boats, this hotel and the others on the lake are probably not for you. The rooms are nice but modest and you will be floating on the water. I think for the majority of people this is fine but I flag it only for those who may feel queasy on the water. I liked the hotel very much and recommend it highly."

"We stayed at the Magical Mountain Resort for one night on our way to Koh Sok National Park. It was the perfect stop for one night. The resort was beautiful. Gorgeous pool & pool bar. Great choices for dinner and the staff were amazing. Highly recommend!"

"The hotel was clean and comfortable. There was a small breakfast included which consisted of toast, egg, fruit and coffee / hot chocolate. The hotel is in the country so there isn’t much around. It is next to the river and close to the dam. There were a few restaurants a short drive away. "

She made us breakfast, she helped us in navigating the area and gave us amazing tips on everything around the area and in Thailand in general. Gail is amazing, the property is perfect for anytime you want something that makes you feel at home but also an enjoying relaxing vacation. I fully plan to stay here again the next time I am in Thailand!"
