"This hotel is right next to the national park! It's a little rustic but a great place to stay and bugs are around you and in the room... you are pretty much in the woods so if you hate bugs I would not stay in this area but again it's a great location!"

"We booked just 1 night at Caligo Resort because it was conveniently located close to Cheow Lan Pier (Ratchaprapha Pier). Once we arrived, we fell in love with the place; the view from the room was breathtaking. The terrace was perfect for relaxing while getting lost in the landscape. The big glass wall that allowed us to appreciate the view from the bed and the tub was also a great touch. On top of that, the service was 5-star. "The hotel was clean and comfortable. There was a small breakfast included which consisted of toast, egg, fruit and coffee / hot chocolate. The hotel is in the country so there isn’t much around. It is next to the river and close to the dam. There were a few restaurants a short drive away. "

"I cannot begin to express how grateful I am for Gail, the owner and operator of this property. She CONSTANTLY went above and beyond being the absolute perfect host from the moment we arrived. She made us breakfast, she helped us in navigating the area and gave us amazing tips on everything around the area and in Thailand in general. She was an absolute godsend and was by far my most memorable local of my whole trip. Gail is amazing, the property is perfect for anytime you want something that makes you feel at home but also an enjoying relaxing vacation. I fully plan to stay here again the next time I am in Thailand!"
