"My mom & I stayed here 5 nights in mid June and were super happy we did. The hotel was spacious, clean and well-run by very friendly, helpful staff. Our room on the 4th floor was enormous, well laid-out & appointed. Our window looked out on the parking lot however we still had a view of greenery beyond it and tons of sky. Extra shout out to Jacob at the front desk and to the woman (whose name I didn’t catch) who ran the entire busy breakfast scene Thursday thru Sunday during our stay. She def works her tail off whilst still being friendly & so accommodating to the myriad, sometimes tons of, people who shuffle through each morning. "

"Our room was very spacious, with multiple seating options and 2 queen beds. The breakfast options were very good. The shower was hard to adjust the water temperature, and water pressure wasn’t the greatest. Overall the stay was great!"

"This is my new favorite hotel in the region. I was looking for a place that had old-time character and elegance. Terrace Inn had it. There's no elevator and the shower was small, but we expect this from a historic building. The bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning was a huge relief from the heat and humidity outside. The breakfast was wonderful - the staff served the food and walked around refilling coffee. It was like eating at a restaurant rather than the typical continental breakfast that is included at other hotels. Speaking of restaurants, we ate at the 1911 restaurant on the first floor, and it had wonderful food, ambience, and staff. The combination of a lovely room, the historic feel of the hotel and restaurant, the super friendly staff, the ability to stroll through the historic neighborhood and walk to Lake Michigan for sunsets... we loved it! "

"Clean, comfortable, has a small pool that I didn't use, friendly staff and accomodating on check in to get me on the first floor. Good continental breakfast. Only thing I don't like and it wasnt just this hotel, is how the air condtioner blows right on you when on the bed and the vent isn't adjustable. Overall I'd stay there again. "
