"You enter through a lush garden, the house decor is art deco, spacious dining/living room, plenty of plates, bowls, glasses, etc… The host, Sylvie, lives in the adjacent property, but everything remains very private. Silvia is a wonderful host, patiently shared info about local sites, grocery shopping, restaurants. It is an easy 10 minute walk to grocery , restaurants, and other shopping. We stayed a week, but could have easily done a longer stay. Highly recommended for up to 6 people. "

"We enjoyed our visit to Narbonne and the area. The gite was clean and tidy, but there was mis-communication between the owner and ourselves regarding a few items. Although VRBO state that the owner speaks English, this was not really the case. VRBO also stated in the literature that towels and bedding were included. They were not, and we had to pay extra. Even then, the towels were still not provided on our arrival. There were no tea towels, or oven gloves either. We thought that the equipment...

"The Good Life was perfect. It is exactly as it looks in the photos. We enjoyed the well-appointed interior and sat outside in the afternoon sun with a glass of wine after our excursions to neighbouring towns and villages. BTW, the location is excellent for exploring the area. Rieux Minervois is a small town with a great boulangerie down the road (walking distance), good Italian restaurant across the road, and a local wine co-op. There's also a small market on Saturdays. We weren't sure about...

"We are a family of 5, with 3 teens. We had so much space in really clean and comfortable surroundings. Communication was excellent and Martine and Jean were good hosts. The pool area with outdoor kitchen was lovely and peaceful and the garage with ping pong a treat! Would recommend to families or groups. It is an uphill climb to visit the old town but the access point is very convenient. The apartment itself is very comfortable, while compact, and easily accommodated four of us.
