"The staff were incredibly kind. The location is perfect - Tolcarn Beach is basically on their door step and is walkable to Porth Beach and Fistral Beach. The bus stops are a very short walk from the hotel and there are numerous stores in the area. I would definitely stay here again. "

"We enjoyed our stay, it was convenient to walk to Penzance and Marazion. The property is quaint and although old fashioned nicely decorated. Bedroom spacious and lovely to have own separate toilet and shower. We only had breakfast once which was delicious and good value for money. Staff friendly and welcoming. "Lovely big room and bathroom, staff were friendly and very attentive during meal times and in the bar. Clean and tidy hotel, lots of stairs to get to rooms, takes a day or two to get your head round the route to the room. Overall a great stay, wouldn’t hesitate to use the Alverton again, great location five minute walk to centre of the city."

"Great dog walking directly outside of the hotel and the ability to have breakfast with the dog in the bar area was great . I had a single room and it was fine Very clean and all that was needed was provided. Unfortunately I didn’t have time to use the indoor pool but it looked AMAZING. Will return soon."
