"Location was great but a little seedy at night because there’s not much lighting on the street. Quick stroll to Rundle Mall and the tram stop is nearby. Clean but kitchen sink had taps that were difficult to use. An older person would have difficulty if they had arthritis. A kitchen mixer tap would have been better. Dishwasher was easy to use. "The apartment was well located a short bus trip from the CBD. It had all the facilities we required and was very reasonably priced. We would book to stay there again without hesitation on any future visit to Adelaide. "

"Good location but very little parking available so advisable to pay for on site parking. Had difficulty initially accessing property with passcode and had to enter when another tenant entered. On entry to the apartment there was an overpowering smell of (i think) curry and i had to open windows and spray room freshener to get rid of it . The carpets had some stains but they were clean and these could easily be covered up with rugs. The balcony was huge and the views were great. I would...

"The reception counter is only open for short period. I had the problem with the WiFi from Friday night to Monday morning. They came in Monday morning to fix it. Otherwise, the stay was perfect. "

"The property is located in a lovely community—close to everything yet far enough from the hustle and bustle of busy life. However, a major downside was the lack of air circulation in the rooms. With only one air conditioner in the property, the rooms became unbearably hot, and this critical detail was not mentioned in the listing. Additionally, communication with the property manager was extremely disappointing, as they did not respond to any inquiries."

"We enjoyed our four night stay at Ashton retreat. We found it a welcoming place to relax and enjoy the established extensive gardens around the retreat.The little touches made it special-a full fruit bowl, fresh milk , a variety of breakfast cereals, fresh coffees and a variety of teas etc. Kate and Andy were very welcoming - - thank you for the delicious homemade berry jam and fresh homegrown rhubarb. "Had a huge wall in front of my 1st floor balcony. Beware trying to use the bathtub as the plug goes down and doesn’t come up so it was near impossible to empty! One pillow case had mould (?) on it. Otherwise beautifully decorated, bed comfortable. "
