"Wonderful stay whilst we explored Hay on Wye for a few days which was a short drive away. Very comfortable and clean and lovely cooked breakfast although not much continental selection. Had an open fire inside the entrance where you could sit and relax. We managed to lock ourselves out of our room leaving the key inside and the property were contacted easily and they gave us a spare key to get back in. We would stay again. Absolutely stunning views and the breakfast was wonderful. Parking was a brilliant bonus. Our compact accommodation was very clean, cosy, comfortable and had all we needed, with a generous supply of teas, coffee and Welsh cakes in the room. At breakfast, there was a wide choice of quality ingredients to choose from, carefully prepared and presented in impeccable style. A nice touch was the freshly squeezed orange juice. "Situated at the end of a quiet lane with breath taking views of the countryside and the Black Mountains beyond, we were met by our wonderful host Sophie who welcomed us to her lovely home. Private entrance to the house, with everything you could possibly need, thoughtfully delivered to provide a very comfortable stay. Breakfast was delicious and the best I have had in some time. Sophie was knowledgable and super helpful, and lovely to get to know. Totally recommend staying."
