"For a travelling family of 4 this was perfect for a stop off place to see Venice. Clean room, location perfect for the airport and for restaurants. Staff at the property were extremely helpful in showing us how to get to Venice from the location. Directions to nearby parking and then on the bus route 5 to take us into Venice itself were superb. "Unique property, we had a loft style room overlooking the canal, had everything we needed, very spacious. Easy to reach from the airport by taxi boat - great way to arrive. Excellent breakfast, a bit different to the standard hotel offering. Would definitely recommend."

"Close to the train station which means less dragging bags over bridges, but a longer walk to San Marco. Decent food in the area and easy access to the water bus. They were super helpful when we had to stay for two extra night. Room was cold so do bring layers. "

"Clean and close by to the train station, 5 minute walk. Great location for a short visit to visit Venice. Room and bed was clean. Washroom was clean there is no stand-up shower there is a handheld shower head. Could use an update in the shower as there was a bit of mildew. Common area was nice and clean , there is a fridge, stove and kettle. Overall the place was fine if you just need a place to sleep. "

"It’s a lovely property which has been newly renovated good amenities. It’s in walking distance from mestre station making it easy and cheap to get into Venice. Would recommend and stay again. "

"Second time staying here and can’t recommend it enough. The room is very comfortable and clean. The first time staying here we arrived by plane and had to take Venice water shuttle. This time around we arrived via train and it was much more convenient to find the hotel using the water ferry to the Casino stop. Highly recommend staying here. "

"The staff at Casa Caburlotto were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was small but perfect for one person. Very clean and comfortable. I give it a 9/10. They even held my bags for a few hours while I explored and waited for the train "

"The room provided plenty of space to move around and was very comfortable. We even had a balcony. The location was walking distance to all major attractions. The staff were very attentive, friendly and helpful. We had continental breakfast delivered every morning and it was included. I would definitely recommend Al Portico Guest house for your stay in Venice. "
