"We had a wonderful stay at this property! Plenty of bedrooms (and bathrooms) to spread out in, and lots of space inside for dining, hanging out, etc. So close to Perham and great dining and shopping as well. Though late in the season we enjoyed the hot tub and a fresh dip in the lake in the evening as well!"

"Chris and Kensie are outstanding hosts. The details in their home were above and beyond what we were expecting for our quick work weekend in Detroit Lakes. The bath salts were my personal favorite after a long day. We were able to bring our pup and after forgetting to bring his dishes, we found a water and food bowl just for our good boy! Great location! Hope to come back for a more fun getaway next time!"

"Amazing! Main floor has a beautiful kitchen, step down living space, extra large dining room table, and 1/2 bathroom. Basement houses:-King master bedroom with two walk-in closets, washer and dryer and a large shower. -Small sitting area outside of master bedroom with a tv and piano! -Hallway leads to two bedrooms with 2-twin beds in each room with large closets!-Additional living space contains a couple of sitting areas as well as three steps leading up to a bedroom with four twin beds as well...

"Walking into this place was picturesque. The windows to the lake were beautiful The layout was perfect for a large family and the amenities inside were awesome. ( arcade games, sauna, separate TV room ) Definitely a place we will visit again as our family lives nearby. "

"It is a beautiful home and had all the space we wanted. However be aware that the windows are not operable so you cannot open them. The AC worked fine, but we missed the fresh air. Our biggest issue is that we were mislead by the ad. When it said "cottage available to rent for extra sleeping space" we did not realize it meant it was a totally separate property that would be rented if we didn't rent it. "We absolutely love staying at 928 West Lake Drive, DL! Great house and beach. Very conveniently located by several eating/drinking/ice cream establishments. Clean and comfortable. Debbie, the manager is very friendly and helpful. We hope to stay here again! The troll hunting was a bonus this year! "

"We had a wedding this weekend. The house was more than we expected. There was plenty of room for us with bedrooms and bathrooms spread apart so none of us felt crowded. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. Everything was clearly marked so we didn’t have to guess at anything. There was also lots for the younger kids and adults alike to do. The lake is beautiful. Perfect spot and will rent again. "

"My husband and I, my 3 adult siblings and their spouses, and our parents all gathered here for Thanksgiving week. The location was right on Ottertail Lake, with beautiful sunsets that I'm sure are even more lovely when it's not frozen. The home was well-appointed with wood-burning and gas fireplaces, comfortable couches and beds (some very low to the ground), and stylish furnishings. The large upstairs and smaller downstairs kitchens came in handy for making a big meal. And we enjoyed playing...
