"Great house in the middle of the fields. You have everything you need. We didn’t use kitchen tools but it seemed to be fool. we used the fireplace as an attraction although it was not so cold these days it was great for an evening together. the bed is uncomfortable with a spring mattress. the sewerage and ventilation in the shower worked poorly. 10/10 for accommodation atmosphere and cleanliness."

"Buckhood cottage had everything needed, clean and functional. The kitchen was a good size with the best view to look at while washing up. Beds were comfy and slept very well. Only issue was the shower, very low pressure and runs scorching hot and freezin cold. Overall a very good stay. Xxx"

"My sister and I really enjoyed our stay in Kirkmichael. Hannah and Miles were perfect hosts, and the cottage was very clean/cozy and in a very convenient location. We were able to do many day trips to surrounding areas. Great location if you want to visit Pitlochry, Blair Athol, Braemar, and/or other areas within Perthshire. Wonderful hiking trails from the town that vary in length/time that range in difficulty from easy to strenuous. We also highly recommend The Cabin for a meal or two...

"Had a lovely weekend staying at Birnie Cottage. Aileen was great at giving information prior to our arrival and gave us a lovely welcome with scones, butter and jam. The cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The garden is beautiful and we were lucky enough to be able to sit out 2 evenings enjoying the sun and the garden. "The property was perfect for our getaway with the dogs. Lovely little garden. Good sized rooms. All you could need with towels, soap, toilet rolls, kitchen fitted out with everything you needed, good cleaning essentials. The check in and out times worked well for us. The key safe to property was perfect. The only thing negative was that the patio doors didn't open and we left the front door open to let air in when it was warm and when sitting outside. "Cottage is in a lovely quiet location and is very well equipped- beds are very coverage too. I didn’t have much communication from the hosts as didn’t need it- only downside was getting told off for putting the radiators on. I couldn’t get the towels dry overnight for a shower the next day- weather was too wet to hand them out and they wouldn’t dry in the cottage."

"Good communication with John and easy check in on arrival. Unfortunately, we caught the tail end of a raging storm so weather didn’t allow us to use the patio and massive grassed garden as much as we would have liked but family still enjoyed break here very much. Tremendous heat from the Aga was a wee bit overwhelming but at least it allowed us to dry our hot tub towels very easily! Would return here again."
