"A wonderful base from which to explore Sussex, Hampshire and Kent. The upside down arrangement allows for lovely views over the countryside complete with sheep, lambs and pheasants. The property is thoughtfully equipped, down to plenty of power points, some with both C and USB ports. The kitchen is full of just about everything you could need. Attention to detail is everywhere. A lovely, comfortable place to relax. Definitely a place to revisit. Highly recommended!"

"My family had a lovely stay at Bellflower Cottage on the working, peaceful Twyford Farm. Hosts were kind and we appreciated the welcome goodies and mince pies. Although the weather was cold, we were comfortably warm and appreciated the kindling and wood. Check in and out were a breeze."

"We stayed in the cottage at Tovey Lodge. It was very dated, which was fine, but it was also worn out. The sofa bed needs replacing due to peeling material and the mattress on this was so thin there is no way an adult could sleep on there. Luckily our 7 year old can sleep anywhere. The main bed was uncomfortable with a too small mattress topper which didn't reach the edges and because of this we only stayed for two of the three nights we had booked as we needed sleep. "Woodpeckers Cottage has been tastefully decorated and furnished and has a lovely feel of space and tranquility. The owners have ensured that it is very well equipped and the welcome tray was really appreciated. Parking and Access to the cottage were excellent. "Our party of 4 really enjoyed our stay at Deerkeepers, it has a superb rural location with a lovely, peaceful cottage garden to relax in. "This is a well equipped cottage which is in a rural position on the edge of the town, accessed by a short but unlit lane. It is a 15 minute walk into the High Street and there are plenty of countryside walks from the doorstep."

The countryside location is attractive and wonderfully peaceful. Good pubs in local villages, close to Eastbourne and coast, with lots to see, do and walk. A great break."

"Lovely stay at the stables. They have been converted to a high standard and were very comfortable for our family with two small children. It was great that there was a stair gate in the top bedroom as there isn’t a door. Had a nice meal at the local pub and in easy reach by car of local visiting sites. The hosts were very helpful and friendly and let us wander around their lovely garden. Would recommend. "

"This house was perfect for me, my husband and my sister. We were at a lunch party on Haying Island and we were able to easily drive to Sheffield Park in the light. The parking was so convenient and the cottage was extremely well equipped, not that we needed a washing machine. I would unhesitatingly recommend it. We tried to set off the dishwasher just the once, but the top shelf was attached by elastic bands and so we didn't risk putting anything there. Had we been going to stay longer I would...

"A very pleasant long weekend at North Lodge. Location is peaceful but well located, plenty of amenities nearby. The house is cute and full of character. The kitchen/diner is a particularly nice space with patio doors out to the pretty little garden with mature shrubs and seating area. The kitchen is very well appointed. The bathroom would benefit from a bin and unit/stand to put products/wash bags on when in the bath. A few hangers in both the double bedrooms would be handy. The beds are...
